Charge Amps Onboarding Guide
To connect Charge Amps chargers to Splash, you will need to be physically located near the charger. You will also need your charger PIN code that can be found in the documentation which came with the packaging.
1. Turn on the Charge Amps charger.
2. Using a smartphone or computer, open the wireless settings of the device and scan for networks.
3. The Charge Amps charger will provide a Wi-Fi access point which is available for 10 minutes. Select the network called:
“AURA_nnnnnnA” (where “nnnnnn” equals the last 6 digits of the serial number).
4. When asked, enter the Charge Amps PIN code (found in the documentation which came with the packaging) as Network key.
5. Once connected, open a new window in the network browser on the same device. Enter “192.168.250.1” in the adress field to reach the local management interface.
6. When reaching the local management interface, login by entering the Charge Amps PIN code again.
7. Open Splash app. In the Splash app: My charger > Add new charger.
8. Copy the Splash URL provided. wss://cpms.splashrenewable.co.uk/
9. Paste the URL copied from Splash.
10. Back to Charger Amps. Once logged in, click the “OCPP” tab and enter Splash URL in the “OCPP endpoint” field.
11. Press “Update” to save the settings.
12. Reboot the charger.
13. In Splash, please don’t use the QR scanner and enter your Charger Amps PIN code or serial number to proceed.
14. Follow the instructions to finish setting up your charger. After a minute the charger should appear on the map and you can start sharing on Splash!
