VCHRGD Onboarding Guide
1. Download and open the VCHRGD Installer app. When prompted, enable Bluetooth or location permissions (required for Bluetooth scanning).
2. When the available Bluetooth device list page appears, you should see your charger here.
NOTE: If the connection attempt times out before connecting, wait and select the charger again once visible.
3. Select your charger from the list of devices
4. Enter the password from the install kit
If you have lost the installer password then please call VCHRGD technical support and quote the Magic No. for a temporary password.
5. Tap ‘OK’ to connect
6. Select ‘Full Configuration’ mode.
7. Select your wifi network from and connect.
8. Set Charge Mode to ‘APP’
9. Copy the Splash URL provided. wss://cpms.splashrenewable.co.uk/
10. Set Server URL to ‘Manual Entry’. Paste the URL you copied from Splash into the field that appears.
11. Tap ‘Set’. You will see a ‘Set Successfully’ message and the installer app should automatically disconnect from the charger. If it does not, tap ‘Back’ then ‘Disconnect’.
12. Once the installer app is disconnected from the charger, it will reboot automatically, meaning the commissioning was successful.
13. Open Splash app. In the Splash app: My charger > Add new charger.
14. Please don’t use the QR scanner and enter your VCHRGD serial number to proceed.
15. Follow the instructions to finish setting up your charger. After a minute the charger should appear on the map and you can start sharing on Splash!
